You may join us in a more in depth exploration of all aspects of the ecology of Thailand and the surrounding environment, both terrestrial and marine. Robert and Anne enjoy being informative; both write for various magazines about natural history and the environment, and Robert has a regular column in the Phuket Gazette. In addition to all of the PADI diving and snorkeling courses with certification, including the Underwater Naturalist course, we provide our own in depth Coral Reef Ecology Course which takes three days and is available for both divers and snorkelers. This course leads to certification by the National Institute of Marine Education (UK). Our bird-watching expeditions travel the length and breadth of Thailand, depending on demand, and include the islands from the Malay border North to and including the Myanmar Mergui Archipelago, which is largely unexplored. It has been open to visitors only since February, 1997.
We were on this first tourist trip and have been on most since then. These 800 islands are uninhabited except for a couple of tiny villages. The rainforest on them is uncut and full of wildlife. We bring to these trips full biological libraries and both day and night-vision binoculars.
